On Saturday, our Subiaco-Floreat - 1s got past Claremont-Nedlands - 1s at Cresswell Park.
Claremont-Nedlands - 1s made 131 and 7/259, and we made 8/177. A classy 70 off 59 balls from Ollie Sykes was the highlight. Sam Smith's 51 not out off 30 balls was a half-century to remember. The hosts' Franklin Stewart Lough was the standout with the ball, taking five for 46.
Hamish McKenzie was the hero with the ball, claiming a five-wicket haul (five for 100). McKenzie added four for 23. A century to Lochie Hardy for our opponents: 153.
A well-deserved win for the team. That's three wins on the trot for the side.
A day to enjoy for everyone at Subiaco-Floreat.
