It was a tough day out for our Subiaco-Floreat - 1s, who fell to Gosnells - 1s at Floreat Park.
We posted 272, and Gosnells - 1s 5/273. Jayden Goodwin posted a half-century, making 78 off 97 balls with two fours and one six. Ollie Sykes made a superb 61 off 73 balls, a well-made fifty. Edward Middleton bowled well for the visitors, taking three for 74.
Credit to Luke McNamee, who made a century (120) for our opponents. Lucas Martin starred with the ball, taking three for 58.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon.
Well played to the visitors.
