Good news from our Subiaco-Floreat - 1s, who secured a win against Mount Lawley - 1s at Breckler 1.
First up, Mount Lawley - 1s made 201 from 49.5 overs. Hats off to Adam Thomas, whose 107 was a polished century for our opponents. Conor Moldrich starred with the ball, taking three for 34. Ollie Sykes offered good support with three for 35.
In reply, the boys reached the target at 3/206 in 29.2 overs. Sykes brought up a classy half-century, finishing with 85 not out off 68 balls. Fifty for Will Malajczuk, who finished with 72 not out off 41 balls.
With wickets in hand, the chase was cleverly managed.
A great effort from the side.
