It was one to learn from for our Subiaco-Floreat - 1s, who were undone by Perth - 1s.
Perth - 1s' innings closed at 4/307 from 50 overs. Joel Curtis posted an excellent hundred for our opponents, finishing on 136. Hats off to Samuel Fanning, whose 105 was a quality century for the visitors. Michael Hart was the pick of our bowlers with two for 57.
In reply, the team were all out for 285 in 47.1 overs. Will Malajczuk's 58 off 39 balls was a half-century to remember. Geremy Fatouros made a great 57 off 48 balls, a well-made fifty. Jayden Goodwin posted a half-century, making 54 off 67 balls with four fours.
On to the next one.
