Our Subiaco-Floreat - 2s side lost to Bayswater-Morley - 2s on a frustrating day.
Bayswater-Morley - 2s made 10/268, and we made 120 and 3/119. Jack Garner-Dart's 70 off 85 balls was a half-century to remember. Blake Davies brought up a quality half-century, finishing with 60 not out off 107 balls. Ethan Frankle added a useful 48 off 46 balls. A five-wicket haul to Jack Wasley for the visitors (five for 21).
A six-wicket haul to Callum Stevenson, who finished with six for 63 off 24 overs. Connor Dimech made a classy 73 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. It's two defeats on the trot, and the side will be eager to bounce back. We'll go again.
