Our Subiaco-Floreat - 3s side came up short against Melville - 3s on a day to learn from.
Melville - 3s batted first and put 7/172 on the board from 45 overs. Kobe Lawless posted 72 for the hosts, a quality fifty. Our best with the ball was Kieran Rakich, who took two for 26.
In reply, we finished on 146 from 42.4 overs. Leading the way was Jean Whitmore with 29 off 60 balls.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. The boys will be keen to bounce back.
