It was a good day out for our Subiaco-Floreat - 3s, who came away winners against Wanneroo - 3s in 1. Senior Male action.
After batting first, we finished on 5/214 from 45 overs. Chris Isles's 60 off 70 balls was a half-century to remember. Cohen Pressley provided good support with 37.
Wanneroo - 3s were all out for 165 in 41.2 overs in reply. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Wynand Basson, who made 57. The wickets were shared around, with Jean Whitmore taking three for 11. William Nicholls added three for 28.
Bowling the hosts out proved decisive. That has us sitting on top of the ladder. Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
