Our Subiaco-Floreat - 4s had to settle for a loss as they were bested by Fremantle - 4s in a tough outing.
Across the match we made 10/179, with Fremantle - 4s on 8/181. Jack Botsis passed fifty on the way to 51 off 119 balls with four fours. Robert Powell contributed 38 off 57 balls. Ethan McDowell took a six-wicket haul for the hosts, finishing with six for 26.
Will Foster was the pick of the bowlers, taking four for 14 off ten overs. Our opponents' best with the bat was Aaron Beecroft, who made 43.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Congratulations to the hosts on the win.
