Despite a solid effort, our Subiaco-Floreat - 4s were denied by Mount Lawley - 4s in a disappointing result.
First up, Mount Lawley - 4s made 8/251 from 45 overs. Dylan Smith posted 71 not out for the visitors, a quality fifty. Elliott Cooper weighed in with 44 for our opponents. Our best with the ball was Kieran Rakich, who took three for 54.
Needing 252 to win, we finished on 9/195 from 45 overs. Faris Haider led the way with 39 off 58 balls with two fours. Robert Powell weighed in with 39 off 56 balls. Smith claimed three for 41 for the visitors.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
