There was no joy for our Subiaco-Floreat - B, who were undone by Perth - B with lessons to take away.
Perth - B batted first and made 5/132 from 20 overs. Emma-Lee Hammond made a stylish 55 for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century.
Needing 133 to win, we finished on 9/121 from 20 overs. Sasha Gerrick's 33 off 36 balls was the highlight with the bat. Gabrielle Hainsworth claimed three for 14 for our opponents.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Chins up, everyone.
