It was smiles all round as our Subiaco-Floreat - B prevailed over Rockingham-Mandurah - B to collect a well-earned win.
Batting first, Rockingham-Mandurah - B posted 8/148 from 38.3 overs. The visitors' best with the bat was Hannah Betley, who made 29. Hannah Yoong bowled cleverly to finish with three for 25. Erika Yeo added three for 34.
In reply, the girls reached the target at 7/149 in 26.1 overs. Tabi Rewell brought up a classy half-century, finishing with 55 off 40 balls. Solid support came from Elodie O’Sullivan, who made 29. Eve Powell was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 18.
A well-deserved victory for the side.
