There were smiles all round after our Subiaco-Floreat - B got the win against Melville - B by five wickets at Stevens East.
Batting first, Melville - B posted 9/128 from 40 overs. Credit to Indy-Mae Bartlett, who made a half-century (59) for our opponents. Olivia Murray was the pick of our bowlers with three for 22. Neha Prashanth offered good support with two for 13.
In reply, the team reached the target at 5/130 in 31.4 overs. An unbeaten 47 off 35 balls from Tabi Rewell was a highlight.
We'd lost to the visitors earlier this season, so this one was especially pleasing.
A day to enjoy for everyone at Subiaco-Floreat.
