It was smiles all round as our Subiaco-Floreat - 2s were too good for Perth - 2s on Saturday at Floreat Park.
Perth - 2s batted first and made 6/232 from 50 overs. Hats off to George Maddy, whose 102 not out was a stylish century for the visitors. Benjamin Cranny posted 65 for our opponents, a stylish fifty. Piers Kirk returned figures of four for 31 off seven overs.
In reply, the boys reached the target at 6/236 in 48.3 overs. Thomas Wilson made a cracking 65 off 92 balls, a well-made fifty. Zakary Beattie passed fifty on the way to 54 off 41 balls with six fours and one six. Dean Nelson claimed four for 38 for the visitors.
Contributions came from right through the line-up. That's back-to-back wins for the team. Great work, everyone.
